.

nice to meet you.

My name is Tatsu and I am the CEO of the designer brand TATZU. I have an atelier and studio in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where I am based, and have been working as a fashion designer and pattern maker for about 10 years.

The brand is characterized by its unique style of redesigning Japanese kimonos, and offers cool new-age fashion such as jackets and sarouel pants with a motif of black kimono patterns. By reviving the appeal of kimono patterns that are no longer worn much in modern Japan, the brand is also contributing to the preservation of kimono culture.

* TATZU brand overview

In order to deliver cool kimono-patterned fashion to customers around the world and create trends, TATZU is engaged in a wide range of activities, including exhibiting at fashion shows and pop-up stores in various countries, selling directly from its atelier, producing made-to-order products, operating an online shop, and posting on social media.

*Photo of the atelier: We sell our own brand products and a wide range of kimonos, and also accept custom-made orders according to your requests. We are especially popular with Westerners.

*Photo of the production workshop: In collaboration with a team of experienced local tailors, we consistently carry out pattern making, cutting, sewing, and inspection with Japanese quality.

On the other hand, as part of our daily manufacturing, we have also begun developing new skin care products as a new initiative. We are also producing organic silk soap that utilizes the ingredients of silk cocoons, which we developed in cooperation with silkworm farmers in Takeo Province, Cambodia. The soap's analytical test certificate has been obtained from a Japanese testing institution, and we have begun selling it mainly in Cambodia.

※Photos of silk soap and the production process: Natural cocoons made from silkworms raised on mulberry leaves are soaked in oil and steamed to extract sericin hydrolyzate, which is then added to the soap ingredients. All of this is done by hand.

.

We are currently seeking someone who can help with sales promotion of Silk Soap, including attracting customers through social media (mainly using Instagram).

We are also practicing influencer marketing and have built a platform for it. As part of attracting customers, we will also promote to influencers.

We may also ask you to help attract customers and promote our main business, the TATZU brand, through social media. If you are interested, you may also gain experience in fashion design.

Let's find fulfillment through discussion through our diverse activities. Please rest assured that we will support you in every aspect. We will think together to solve problems and carry out the work. Please bring your enthusiasm and creativity to our team. We look forward to receiving your application.

What kind of country is Cambodia?

Finally, I would like to briefly introduce the country of Cambodia.

Cambodia is a country with a rich cultural heritage and beautiful nature. There is a lot of information available on the Internet these days, but below we will introduce the main attractions of Cambodia with photos.

1. Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat is a huge temple complex that is the symbol of Cambodia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 12th century, the temples are known for their magnificent architecture and beautiful carvings. The views are particularly spectacular at sunrise and sunset.

2. Siem Reap

Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor Wat and is a city visited by many tourists. There are night markets where you can experience traditional Cambodian culture, and plenty of restaurants where you can enjoy delicious Cambodian cuisine.

3. Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, is a vibrant city dotted with historical buildings such as the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda, and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets along the Tonle Sap River.

4. Tonle Sap Lake

The largest lake in Southeast Asia, Tonle Sap Lake is home to a rich ecosystem. Floating villages on the lake offer a glimpse into traditional lifestyles, and boat tours around the lake offer a glimpse into the local culture.

5. Cambodian Traditional Culture

Cambodia is also known for its traditional dance and music. Apsara dance in particular is famous for its graceful and beautiful dance, and can be enjoyed in Siem Reap, a city visited by many tourists.

In addition to these attractions, Cambodia is a country with friendly people and beautiful nature, so every visit will bring you new discoveries and heartwarming experiences.

.

Food, clothing and shelter in Cambodia

Cambodia's food, clothing and shelter have the following characteristics:

Clothing : Traditional clothing is generally made of fabrics called "sarongs" and "kroma." In urban areas, Western-style clothing is also popular, and casual styles are mainstream, especially among young people. Cambodia is hot and humid throughout the year, so clothing made of light, breathable materials is suitable. Cotton and linen clothing is comfortable, and hats and sunglasses are also useful as the sun is strong. However, it can be a little chilly at night, so it would be useful to have something to put on over your clothes.

Food : The staple food is rice, and many dishes use fish, vegetables, and meat. Khmer Cambodian cuisine is characterized by a good balance of sweet, sour, and salty flavors, and representative dishes include amok (coconut fish curry) and prahok (fermented fish paste). There are also many Japanese restaurants and international eateries, so you can enjoy a variety of cuisines. There are also plenty of convenience stores such as Max Value in the center of Phnom Penh.

Living : Modern concrete housing is on the rise in urban areas, and many accommodations are equipped with basic amenities such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and hot showers, making for a comfortable stay. There are also many hotels that offer relatively inexpensive rates, making them good value for money. Many also have restaurants, gyms, and pools, and there are plenty of options for every budget, from hotels suitable for long-term stays to guesthouses.

.

Cambodia is a friendly country

Historical background
: Cambodia and Japan have had friendly relations for a long time, and Japan made significant contributions to the country's reconstruction and infrastructure development after the Cambodian civil war. Japan's support is well known among the Cambodian people, and friendly relations continue to exist.

Economic cooperation : Japan is one of Cambodia's important economic donors, providing a large amount of aid through ODA (Official Development Assistance) to education, medical care, infrastructure development, etc. This economic cooperation has contributed greatly to Cambodia's development and has increased Cambodia's favorable impression of Japan.

Cultural exchange : There is a high level of interest in Japanese culture in Cambodia, and anime, manga, Japanese food, etc. There are also many tourists and businessmen from Japan, and they are building good relationships with the local people.

People-to-people exchanges : The number of Cambodian students studying in Japan and people working in Japan is increasing, and exchanges between the two countries are becoming more active. These people-to-people exchanges are further strengthening pro-Japan sentiment.

Overall, Cambodia can be said to be a very friendly and pro-Japanese country.

.

Cambodia's Security

Cambodia is considered a relatively safe country, but certain precautions are necessary, especially in urban areas and tourist destinations. If you take basic safety precautions, you will be able to enjoy your stay with peace of mind. Pickpockets and bag snatchers can occur in tourist areas, so it is important to take good care of your valuables and be careful in crowded areas. We also recommend that you be careful when going out at night and on traffic, and use reliable transportation. You can enjoy a safer stay by always checking the latest safety information and following local guidelines. We will also be sure to provide you with appropriate advice for your daily life.
