[TATZU] Brand Overview

TATZU is a designer brand that features a unique style that redesigned Japanese kimonos, and is run by a Japanese fashion designer / pattern maker. We produce a new era fashion as the COOL YANKEE style, such as high stand collar jackets and sarouel pants of a bicolor design with a motif of a black Tomesode pattern based on a black color.

The appeal of this brand is its unique pattern arrangement and color scheme using the rare black Tomesode kimono, the most prestigious kimono. By coolly redesigning (remake) kimonos that are rarely worn in Japan and spreading their appeal to the world, our brand is also contributing to the preservation of Japanese kimono culture.

Our production base is in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where we have an atelier (direct store) and production workshop. Here, a Japanese designer works together with the team of experienced local tailors to consistently carry out all processes, from pattern making to cutting, sewing and inspection, with Japanese quality.

In addition to selling the clothes which redesigned kimonos and a wide variety of kimonos, the atelier also accepts orders for custom made by redesigning kimonos according to customer requests. This service is highly popular not only among Japanese and other Asians, but also among Westerners in particular.
